Rory McIlroy Confirmed For Wentworth

This is an excellent opportunity to photograph some of the best golfers in the world and the return of Rory McIlroy to the BMW PGA Championships on the fabulous Wentworth golf course in Surrey. The PGA Championship is the most prestigious event on the European Tour and therefore attracts a huge number of the top players in the world. The field this year includes some of the world's best golfers including Rory Mcilroy, Ian Poulter, Justin Rose, Lee Westwood and Ernie Els and Luke Donald, as well as the first Augusta Masters Champions from the UK since 1999, Danny Willett.

The West Course at Wentworth is a beautiful setting and great for pictures, offering photographers limitless vantage points to get those great shots, both close up tee shots as well as great opportunities around the greens. I have photographed this event for over twenty years and will use this wealth of experience to get you into the right positions and best vantage points to shoot the great images you’re after. I have now photographed five Ryder Cups and many more Open Championships. This is a full-on day of photography, starting at around 8am on the course and finishing late in the afternoon. However you can leave at any point of the day that suits you.

Once again this course is going to be run with the assistance of Matthew Harris, one of the most experienced and talented photographers in world golf. Matt has photographed every Major that Tiger Woods has ever competed in. His knowledge of the Wentworth course is extraordinary.
The Pro Celebrity day is on Wednesday 24th May where the Pro golfers team up with other stars from the entertainment and sporting world. These days are far more relaxed photographically than the actual competition days, allowing us more scope to get into the exact positions we need to be in to get the best shots. The sporting celebrities so far confirmed are pro footballers John Terry, Paul Scholes and Robbie Fowler, as well as cricket legends Sir Ian Botham, Shane Warne, Brian Lara and Allan Lamb. From the world of entertainment One Direction's Niall Horan will also be teeing off with the Pros as well as many many others.

The course costs £295.

Numbers are strictly limited to allow myself and Matthew to give as much one to one tuition as possible.
Last year's course was hugely popular so please email me at
