This a superb opportunity to photograph one of the best three day events in the world - THE BURGHLEY HORSE TRIALS. Burghley is a magnet for the some of the best Three Day Eventers, with not just the best of British talent taking part but also top riders and horses from around the world.
The Cross Country test is the highlight of the trials which takes place on Saturday 4th September. The magnificent spectacle of Burghley House provides for some iconic images and it always offers some of the most spectacular and dramatic photo opportunities of the eventing season. It is also a day that gives the photographer plenty of opportunity to be more creative. These pictures were taken at Burghley in recent years.
This photo course is going to be limited to low numbers allowing me to spend as much time as possible with each individual photographer so that I can pass on all of my experience of shooting three day eventing for over twenty years and at four Olympic Games.
