Basketball - London Lions v Glasgow Rocks - Copperbox Arena. February 25th 2015

This is a great opportunity to photograph one of the most action packed sports of all in an iconic arena - top level British Basketball at the Copperbox Arena in London

Built for the London 2012 Olympics, the amazing Copperbox Arena is now home to the London Lions in the British Basketball League and provides a stunning backdrop for this course. You will be a fully accredited photographer for the match alongside me  with shooting access to photograph from the court and all other parts of the arena, just like the other Pro Basketball photographers at the match.

The course will start with a full technical briefing about how to fine tune your camera to capture great basketball action images - this is really crucial with basketball as it can be one of the fastest moving sports to capture. I will then take you down to the court  where I will pass on all my  skills and experience at shooting basketball for the past twenty years and at the past four Olympic Games. This promises to be a really  exciting workshop that get's you right up close to the action in the best basketball arena in the UK.

After the game we will go through a full Photoshop edit of your images ( you must bring your own laptop for this) where I will advise you on how best to crop, edit and manipulate your pictures - enabling you can present them at their best. The numbers on the course are strictly limited and each place costs 249.

This course is going to be run in association with the Nikon School and there will be plenty of Pro Nikon equipment available to borrow for Nikon users. However all camera brand users are welcome. Please email me at if you would like to pre-book your place.
