Saturday / Sunday weekend option £649. Several hotel options from £85 per night. This is a stunning action packed winter sports photography course with easy travel options. You will have the opportunity to photograph either two or three days of the fast action sport of Snow Polo in one of the most beautiful places in Europe – Kitzbühel, Austria. Plus I have put in place an exclusive stable tour to see and photograph some of the most beautiful grey Lipizzaner horses in the world. Set in the incredible winter playground of the Tyrol, the Snow Polo World Cup Jan 2027 - Kitzbühel + Exclusive Lipizzaner Stable Visit promises to provide some amazing images as eight international teams battle it out for the winners trophy over three days of competition. Fast and spectacular action is guaranteed and this course will have huge appeal to both horse lovers and sports photography enthusiasts alike. As well as the Snow Polo matches you will also have the opportunity to photograph some of the beautiful grey Lipizzaner horses on an exclusive private tour to the beautiful 5* Stanglwirt hotel stables nearby. The stables are stunning, as is their indoor riding school. I have also secured a massively reduced rate for a 2 night stay at the Stanglwirt Hotel if you wish to stay there. This really is an outstanding photography course for anyone who loves photographing beautiful horses, both close up and in action. I will be right by your side throughout the course, guiding you through all the technical aspects of photographing action in the snow as well as leading the portrait session at Stanglwirt. Also for the last few years we have been treated to an amazing opportunity to photograph the Lipizzaners running and rolling in the virgin snow! This superb course takes place between Friday 15th and Sunday 17th January 2027, plus a Saturday & Sunday option too. Kitzbühel is only 1hr 15 minutes by road / train from Salzburg Airport and 2 hours from Munich Airport. The roads from both airports to Kitzbühel are easy to navigate, safe and fast. Car hire is cheap and trains are fast. Private transfers from the two airports to Kitzbühel are also easy to book and not too expensive. In the past we have shared our air travel plans and travelled as a group from the airports together in a mini-van type taxi which worked out at about £45 each way per person. There are several hotel options and I will go with the most popular requested. Please let me know which option you prefer. I have secured some rooms at a nearby 3* hotel at around £85 per night (for single occupancy) including breakfast on Thursday 14th & Friday 15th January, before we move to the 5* Stanglwirt on Saturday and Sunday 16th & 17th. The nightly rate at the Stanglwirt is normally around £500 a night in this high season, but I have secured some rooms for 346 Euros per night including breakfast. The hotel has incredible facilities and is genuinely one of the best hotels in the world. It has an amazing spa with both indoor and outdoor pool. Swimming outside with the snow and mountains all around really is stunning! The best value and likely most popular option is a really nice nearby 4* hotel which is great value at about £145 per night including breakfast and dinner. These rooms are on a first come first served basis when booking the course and are for single occupancy. Partners are also very welcome on this course for a small fee plus slightly higher hotel rates. Neither flights nor accommodation are included in the course fee.
